From Settings
Settings → Account → Change email.
Settings → Account → Change email. Enter your current password first. Squawk signs out other devices and emails a one-time code to your current inbox.
Enter that code. The new address stays locked until the code is in.
Enter your password again and the new email twice. Squawk checks the code, then emails a confirmation link to the new address and a cancel link to your current inbox.
Until the new address confirms, your current email stays active for sign-in. Open the cancel link if you didn’t request the change.
A signed-in session alone cannot change your email. The database refuses the switch unless this flow granted that exact new address.
